Tressa Esty was born in Minnesota and spent over 10 years visiting the central coast before relocating here in 2012. She is so happy to be a resident of the Central Coast. Tressa Esty, MPAS, PA-C obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN. She received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA and received her certification in 2006. She was also accepted into Albert Schweitzer fellowship for Humanitarian work in medicine. Since certification, she practiced in Minnesota initially in Plastic Surgery for about a year and then specializing in General, Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology since 2006. Her passion remains in all aspects of Dermatology. Her practice approach is to treat patients as she would treat her family. She also is a clinical professor for PA students from Chatham University and Rocky Mountain University.
When she is not practicing, she enjoys camping, hiking, walking the beach, along with cultural cooking. She loves spending time with her husband and five daughters.
