IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light, uses controlled pulses of broad-spectrum light to target visible pigment and redness in the skin. Unlike microneedling, IPL does not use needles.

Clear + Brilliant may be an option for patients who are beginning to notice visible changes in their skin or who want to incorporate resurfacing into an ongoing skin care plan.

SkinPen® Microneedling for Facial Acne Scars
SkinPen® is a microneedling device that creates controlled microchannels in the skin, initiating the body’s natural remodeling process.
SkinPen is FDA-cleared to improve the appearance of facial acne scars in adults aged 22 and older, making it an option to discuss for patients concerned about acne scarring.
Temporary redness and sensitivity can occur following microneedling. Before treatment, our Santa Maria team will review what you can expect and provide aftercare instructions based on your individual treatment plan.
